Skills Outpatient / Partial Services

Skills is licensed through The Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) to provide outpatient and partial drug and alcohol treatment. Individuals will be invited to engage in our program through a no-wrong door approach.

Any individual in need of service will be able to use the walk-in process of evaluation to gain assessment by a clinician to identify services best meeting their needs. Skills will further increase accessibility for individuals by operating the facility during evening and weekend hours. If an individual is in need of programming externally, the clinician will provide a warm handoff (with appropriate consent) to the program deemed most appropriate for the individual’s needs.

Treatment and Therapy:

Skills will meet the individual’s needs by providing a combination of individual and group therapy. Treatment plans will be developed collaboratively by the clinician and individual to address treatment and support goals. The duration and frequency of the sessions will be identified on a case by case basis and dependent of the necessary level of care.

Clinicians are trained in co-occurring disorder treatment, trauma-informed care, and person-centered practices in addition to all agency, county and licensing required trainings.

Walk-in Process:

Principles of best practice treatment dictate that treatment is most effective when it is easily accessible and available immediately. For that reason, Skills offers walk-in assessments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm.  Any individual in need of a drug and alcohol assessment can walk in our doors during those times and receive an assessment on a first come first serve basis.

Skills accepts individuals of all ages to attend our outpatient/partial drug and alcohol treatment services.  No referral is necessary for treatment.
