The Mountain View Hub Drop-In Center in State College promotes recovery, community inclusion and independence through self-determination, education and consumer-run programming for members with a mental health diagnosis.

Mountain View Hub’s goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment where people with psychiatric disabilities can come to engage in socialization activities or just relax.

Members of Mountain View Hub socialize with their peers, get support, watch movies, play Karaoke, hold open Mic nights, go on trips, participate in community events and activities, play Wii, do crafts and much more. Members can also come out just to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and some snacks among their peers.

Recovery is a self-determined and holistic journey that people undertake to heal and grow. Recovery is facilitated by relationships and environments that provide hope, empowerment, choices and opportunities that promote people reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.

The Mountain View Hub Drop-In Center is consumer driven and consumer run. Members have a say in what happens at the Center and may contribute to the operation of Mountain View Hub.

The Mountain View Hub Drop-In Center educates, supports and empowers those with mental health and cognitive disabilities. Mountain View Hub staff believe that all people can recover to the degree that they feel comfortable and support this journey of happiness, understanding, and hope.

The Mountain View Hub Drop-In Center is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. and some Saturdays (call 814-867‐1100 for Saturday schedules).
