The Beacon Hub Drop-In Center promotes recovery, community inclusion and independence through self-determination, education and consumer-run programming for members with a mental health diagnosis. To quote R.C. “We are moving into Recovery — away from our Entitlement.”

Friends gathering at Beaacon Hub

Friends meet at Beacon Hub for a social.

The Beacon Hub Drop-In Center is a new concept for the Williamsport area. The Beacon Hub is consumer driven and consumer run. Members have a say in what happens at the Center and may contribute to the operation of Beacon Hub. Members of Beacon Hub socialize with their peers, get support, watch TV, play Wii, or try Karaoke. Currently, Members have scheduled a day for crafts and a day for healthy discussions.

The Beacon Hub Drop-In Center educates, supports and empowers those with mental health and cognitive disabilities. Beacon Hub staff believe that all people can recover to the degree that they feel comfortable and support this journey of happiness, understanding, and hope.

The Lounge at Beacon Hub

The Lounge at Beacon Hub provides an open area for members to socialize and relax.

The Beacon Hub Drop-In Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the first and third Saturdays of every month.
