Skills Employment Services


Employment Services is a program that assists people with in finding meaningful, gainful employment in their communities. Skills staff work closely with people to achieve their goal of securing a competitive paying job.

Services include:

Career assessments, job shadowing and job readiness courses

Assistance with the pre-employment phase such as resume building and interviewing skills

Job searching, job finding and job placement

Direct training on the job via Skills’ Employment Training Specialists

Retraining and follow up as needed

Internal management staff is on call 24/7 to assist with any issues that cannot be handles by onsite staff.

Community Participation Supports


These programs combine a large array of services and activities for people with intellectual disabilities and behavioral health challenges so that they may live a more fulfilling life and enjoy all aspects of their community.

The program supports single people and families in the community in sharing their hearts and homes.

Services include but are not limited to the following:

Transition services for young adults

Employment preparation

Community based activities and events

Volunteering

Social, mobility and awareness training

Self-advocacy, health, and wellness training
